The Game

Expedition Code is a multiplayer coding game for kids ages 9 and up. Players write real JavaScript-style code to control characters, solve puzzles, and complete missions — building genuine programming intuition through play.

Up to 3 players can join the same room and tackle missions together in real time on their own computers.

The Creator

Sean is a Principal Software Engineer at Pattern INC. specializing in JavaScript, Rails, and software architecture. He co-founded Whitebox (2013), an e-commerce automation and fulfillment company, and later co-founded WBX Commerce (2019), building logistics platforms for direct-to-consumer brands.

Outside of software, Sean builds Arduino robots, designs custom PCBs, 3D prints things, and has a thing for space — hence the rockets.
