Expedition Code is built by Sean Clark — an engineer, maker, and dad who wanted a better way to teach kids real programming.
Visit seanclark.dev →Expedition Code is a multiplayer coding game for kids ages 9 and up. Players write real JavaScript-style code to control characters, solve puzzles, and complete missions — building genuine programming intuition through play.
Up to 3 players can join the same room and tackle missions together in real time on their own computers.
Sean is a Principal Software Engineer at Pattern INC. specializing in JavaScript, Rails, and software architecture. He co-founded Whitebox (2013), an e-commerce automation and fulfillment company, and later co-founded WBX Commerce (2019), building logistics platforms for direct-to-consumer brands.
Outside of software, Sean builds Arduino robots, designs custom PCBs, 3D prints things, and has a thing for space — hence the rockets.
A space-themed board game about building rockets and exploring the solar system.
Interactive 3D tool for visualizing spacetime curvature and orbital mechanics.
Arduino-powered robot tanks and bots built with 3D-printed parts and custom PCBs.
